The target audience would be those of an artistic, intellectual or cultural persuasion. I have chosen these films as they are not your stereotypical Baz-style Australian blockbusters, are critically acclaimed and received alot of media attention when they were released. I believe they all feature a shining Australian cast and represent milestones in the cinema of their decade.

The mock event was created for an adult audience to relish good Australian cinema, while supporting young, aspiring film makers with the sole purpose to promote the Australian Film Industry and all it has to offer. By showcasing some of the best, enveloping a movie marathon into an event that becomes a visual and physical treat.

I made my promotional text a postcard as it becomes easily assessable to anyone. it can easily be picked up from a cafe or bookshop.

The image I chose represents the classic film noir style of 1940s-50s cinema and i think it is a quirky, eye-catching and classic image, reflecting the ideas behind the films and event.

to re draft the promotional text after feedback. i have decided to not make any changes from what i received from my personal feedback, one criticism i received was that the movies could have been stronger however i stated why i choose the films i did in the mini report once again i chose these Movies as they are not your usual Baz Style blockbusters that, became commercial. The feedback i received about the image selection and style of event was all positive, and most of those who took my survey complimented me on the idea and my choice in how to portray the event.
gaining feedback was interesting as i helped me broaden my ideas about the what a promotional text should be.
